Designed to improve manufacturing productivity, the IRB 1100 can reduce cycle times by 35%, and its leading repeat positioning accuracy ensures high-quality manufacturing.
Compared with similar robots, the IRB 1100 exhibits higher payload and repeatability precision (RP) even in limited spaces. In fact, the IRB 1100 has the highest payload capacity of any ABB robot of its kind.

Compact and flexible in installation
Compared with previous generations of robots, the IRB 1100 robot design has been optimized, with a footprint reduced by 10% and weight reduced by more than 20%. It can be installed in a variety of production environments such as electronics manufacturing factories to achieve efficient use of space.
The small footprint means multiple robots can be deployed simultaneously to collaboratively perform automated operations, and complex tooling/end effectors can be leveraged for more flexible heavy-duty operations.

Clean room ISO 4
ABB will also launch a clean room version of the IRB 1100 in the future. In addition, the IRB 1100 robot is available in two models: one with a payload capacity of 4 kg and a working range of 475 mm; the other with a payload capacity of 4 kg and a working range of 580 mm.
